Working with Flash
We will discuss the types of flashes, their capabilities, and settings, and learn how to use flashes as a primary or secondary light source. Special attention will be given to synchronizing flashes with the camera, working with various modifiers, and creating lighting setups for different tasks — from portraits to photographing moving objects. The practical part of the course will help you confidently apply flashes in any conditions.
Motivated Light in the Frame
This technique mimics natural light sources such as sunlight, moonlight, or lamp light. We will discuss how to create lighting setups that look realistic and enhance the atmosphere of the shot. You will learn how to control the direction, intensity, and color of light, directing the viewer’s attention to key details. Practical assignments will allow you to bring your ideas to life by creating frames with well-thought-out lighting dramaturgy.
